I'm pretty sure those motors have too much hp for my bicycle.

5hp and almost 6lbs torque, probs handle the hp, but the torque would rip wheels

I know there are guys running over sized engines. That is why I posted the link. They are small enough in size to not be noticed by the law. It would take a little will power to not mash down on the throttle but when needed, as in a steep climb, you would have the power waiting there for you.

I'll bet with the sprocket adapter, steel rims, heavy spokes and a heavy chain there wouldn't be a problem.

I love my 5hp 4 strokes. The belt drive and centrifugal clutch saves my wheels and I have all the hill climbing power I need.

These are some pretty neat little engines also. I'd like to build a similar bike as Kawasaki's (member).

Those would be great for a board tracker with some antique paint on them. The builder may be able to get by with a set of wheels from a downhill or freeride mountain bike.
