I don't see how that would be possible. You know how good Chinese quality control is.anyone ever make a really good measurement of the valleys of the sprocket in relation to the tips of the teeth - I sometimes feel that perfect alignment according to the teeth still leaves the chain with some unexplained run out like the valleys aren't concentric with the tooth-ends

Sorry crassius, just trying to be funny. And I didn't want to start (another dispute,) with the folks that SWEAR you can get it PERFECT with just PATIENCE. Well, NO, Not always. Sometimes the sprocket is simply not stamped out perfectly. Theres about 10 factory's that make these kits, and most of the workers are probably 10 year old kids making 25 cents a day. Just a fact of life in a lot of other country's. So SOMETIMES ya just gotta get it as close as ya can and adjust it from the tight spot.
