Hi, I am here hoping to get some help.
My son just bought a new bike and motor kit this weekend and finished installing it last night.
He only rode it a little bit, and the chain on his bike locked up.

I just went home on lunch and took a look at it. I am assuming that the problem is that the chain is too loose?

Thank you!!

yes, it is too loose - you might be able to pick up that slack by moving/adjusting tensioner, but one or more links might need to be cut off

cut carefully, too long is easier to fix than too short

Thank you!
I don't think the tensioner will help, if he puts the chain up any higher on the bottom it will hit the top. (They're practically touching as it is)
I think we have to remove a couple of links.

always a good idea to flip thru some of the pics here to see how things look on other bikes
