cent. clutch and pull start motor help

my motor just came in and it looks great. i just wanted to know the basics on the workins of it clutch and pull start. what should i do to up grade parts. theres also a screw on the clutch side that looks like a drain.whats it for? is this a dry clutch or do i need to put some kind of fluid? how would o know if i need to adjust it and how? is the reason it has a pull start is the motor is to wide to turn the pedals? any help would be great.
also my kit came with a red button with one wire .. is this a kill switch that grounds out?
 
the basic workings of the clutch and pull start, is,

clutch: stops motor from spinning bike wheel.

pull start: a thing that when pulled, starts.
