No but the tuning won't be 100% right. Remember that when climbing a hill the carburetor is never perfectly level, carburetor manufacturers know that and take it into account. How much at an angle would the carburetor be mounted?
 
dont really no the deg but if i go off the seat post mount on engine its not level at all its like in the 1:00/1:30 spot maybe closer to 2:00
 
I would say that it's fine. 35 degrees would be the maximum I would be ready to go. 1:00 would be 15 degrees and 2:00 would be 30 degrees. The real problem arises when you either go up or down a hill with a carburetor that is not flat, the angle can really go bad resulting in weird air/fuel mixture.

My bike runs fine with the carb at a pretty steep angle. If it leaks a little, adjust the float level a little lower. My bike runs well like this, doesn't leak, and goes 39 mph with a 36T.

Mine are all at a pretty good angle as well, some more than the other but I never had an issue on hills or flat ground the main jet is located at the very bottom of the fuel bowl so if the fuel level is set right in the bowl it will always have available fuel to be drawn up through that main jet, don't worry about the carb. angle I'm sure it's just fine, just as biknut pointed out on his.
