Can't get a 2-stroke running.

I'm building a bike with a 66cc AngelFire motor. it was originally on one of my bikes and I started having trouble keeping it running. I haven't messed with it since and installed it on a bike recently. The problem is I can't even get it to idle, I added a pull start to it and other than working up a sweat, nothing happens. I am getting spark and Fuel is making it to the carb. Any suggestions would help.

Did you take the magnet off? If so it could be on backwards, I've done it myself.

I'll try that tomorrow, is that potentially a cause of problems?

Yes, the keyway should be at 1 o'clock with the flat side of the magnet up.
