Brooks saddles VS Pirate Cycles layback seat post

OK. I searched but cant really find what Im looking for. I need to know if the Brooks line of saddles are plug and play with the layback seatpost for Worksman that Pirate sells. Im pretty much set on a Brooks B33 ( sorry cant seem to upload the immage from the site ) Anybody know if this will work?

It really depends on the type of clamp you use at the seat. The older style with 1 nut on each side will work fine when rotated.
You're pretty much forced to use that when using that particular layback.

Any other style of seat clamp are usually built into the post itself. IE: the 1-bolt twin rail clamp

I'm using a Aged Brooks b67 with the Pirate post. I'm having a seat made for it but the brooks looks good. I can't seem to post pics either but if you give me your email I'll send you some pics later today.

Cool ! Just sent a PM. I also have a aged / vintage Brooks that I think I have corrnered. Gona need a lot of clean up and mink oil though. Looks like its been in a pasture for a decade or so.
