Briggs and Stratton 3hp mounting suggestions

Ive posted this in the mounting section, but its a DIY so im posting it here too.I'm starting a new project, and i've got this 3hp Briggs and Stratton engine i want to mount to a bike, but i don't quite know how i'm going to do that, any suggestions would be great (images would be better) thanks. Here are some pics of the engine and the bike i might use if its suitable

To the OP:

First off for some reason the thumbnail images aren't resizing for me at the moment to better see the image of the engine but simply from the paint scheme of it you have an older Briggs engine there.

Looking at the bike you plan on trying to adapt the engine for I would say your choices are very limited if you try to use that particular motor. Really the only practical drive train would be a behind the seat mounted friction drive. An inframe mounting on that bike would require a bunch of fabrication and cutting.

I would really look at some other motor options before committing to using that particular engine simply due to its age let alone the problems you will encounter in adapting it.

The 3 horse Briggs motor fits nicely into a schwinn cantilever frame with out having to chop it up and mess with the integrity.
