Brake Jam

Wheel Rush

I have installed a 2cycle engine on the bike and have noticed
where a problem with the sprocket plate bolts coming into contact with the brake arm, this seems to mean that as the chain gear turns and the wheel turns these bolt heads are hitting the brake arm. I have the bike jacked up on a stand, so this seems to indicate that the plate bolts are not tight enough but I doubt that, is anyone familiar with this problem ?

This is a common problem....you can shave a little off the mounting bolt's for the sprocket, you could bend the brake arm out a little, you could use flat head bolt's. Some use flat head bolts and counter sink them into sprocket..

Thier is a post here somewhere with pic's

Yeah, I knew was something wrong ! It took a little while to find it because, I'm not use to things not fitting where there suppose to, . . .
but I suddenly think I'll be getting use to it.

Well, I could not find the post with better instruction on how to do it....:(

Here is a pic of flat head bolt's and counter sunk. From what I hear from you, a few hit's from the grinder should give you enough clearence.
