Bottom engine cases.

I have a Jet 66cc engine and a generic 66cc engine. Both have the same issue; the two bottom pieces of the engines don't line up perfectly. They're probably 3-4 milimeters off at the edges. Interestingly, the screw holes line up perfectly to hold the two pieces together.

What brand of two stroke Chinese engine doesn't have this problem?

Manufacturing tolerances are not what you might want with the Chinese 2 stroke engines. What you're seeing is some variance in the castings. As long as the gasket faces are good and meet well there is really no problem with the case halves not matching perfectly. It is really only cosmetic. I think you'll find this condition common with all manufactures/brand names. Some worse than others.
