Ahhhh. On the lake. Rebuilt Merc 50hp outboard. 1st run. Uh Oh... tink tink, must have blown a seal. Tear down again. Just in time for fall. Naaaa. I wanna go biking.
My boat trailer's good for somethin. (tandem transport) hee hee.
If not for the bike I'd be really pissed. But just another day.

Man I love riding.

I've done a few of the older Merc's.. be real careful of the timing, one detonation cause the linkage isn't right, say goodbye, they are a pain, I don't envy you but at least ya have the bike!!

My brother and I are in the middle of rebuilding the carb on a 40 Merc he just got on a pontoon boat. I've been staring at my boat trailer, too, thinking how I could use it to transport a bike with sidecar... even tilts down so that I could roll the rig up. Good luck with the fifty horse.
