BBR Tuning 49cc friction drive on a foldable bike

I am aware it has been done but the post about it on this site was with a Staton kit. That’s more expensive and not on amazon. Would it be possible to install it and it still be foldable?

That is a good by, most are $300 or so. Friction drive are fun, except in rain............Curt

Depends on which way the bike folds. FDs mount on the left as the engine must turn backwards. Seems a lot of folders fold that way. Looks like a decent kit. I believe it has a paddle type roller looking at the pics, that's a good thing.
