I came across this and it got me thinking. so if the legal limit is 80cc and your riding a tandem, then does that mean that you can have a 160cc motor on your bike? This looks pretty cool. wish I lived in orange county. TANDEM Motorized mongoose HONDA MOTOR

According to the Federal guidelines the legal limit is less than 50cc's. Most states follow the federal rules but not all do. Some are more strict, none can be less strict though.
