Anyone use extra seat pad like this?

I also saw a seat used on the kind of bars that are use to hold up a banana seat, but it looks like a motorcycle seat that I don't know how it was done, but it is on a motorized bike. Very comfy looking on the VW Rikimbili!

Thinking that off roading and standing on the foot pegs I have are fine, but the banana seat looks cool, just it is not really soft.

Have you considered building your own seat (saddle)? They aren't that hard to do and you'll end up with exactly the size, shape and comfort that you want. I've done several and they just take a little imagination and labor.

I agree...old skateboards are perfect...vinyl is cheap...so is foam...I get my foam free when people throw away couches...

I have added foam pad before with just duct tape. I think instead of the gel pad, I may use a foam pad and have it nicer attached than just duct tape. Make something that I can attach similar to what I see in the picture with straps.

If I make a full seat from scratch it would take me some time, but I think I have all the basic material I have kept from thrown away stuff.
