Another Noob with high interest

Zup guys, i just purchased a 80cc kit for my bike. Its a 2003 Trek 4500 Alpha mountain bike. Im not gonna ask a bunch of questions yet before I look around a little bit but I thought id say hey.

Im interested in NC laws(helmet,lights,ect...) rear sproket upgrades, piston upgrades, 2-cycle gas? Mixed...like a weed eater?

Can i use a MSD blaster coil for fire to my plug, what different types of spark plugs can i use? I plann to search but thought id throw this stuff out there.

In route are

80cc(67) Motor Kit
Sick Bike amsoil filter
Andy's 36T Super Sprocket

Plan to replace plug with a NGK, and wire with a Msd piece left over from a recent car build.

How do the Treks hold up and should i keep my quick releases on my wheels or not?

So I decided to drop the Trek from the project and use this instead.

Its a GT Timberline, chromoly Tri frame.... heavier than the Trek but the conversion will be alot simplier with this frame. Great 25 bux.... i really dont care for the solid fork up front though. I may try the Judy Rock Shox of the Trek, but i dont think the necks are the same diameter....

What do you guys think?
