Any thoughts on this as a ... perhaps handlebar fuel tank??? Or other thoughts? It's about 15"X10"x6". You can see it's rather wedge shaped. Dang thing holds 2 gallons and is CARB and EPA certified. Cheap, bout $30, but is in the raw. All fittings , mounts and cap are on you. Oh, the neck is 2 1/2” . I think like typical small dirtbike.
Just looking for feedback, if anybody has tried something like this? Any other ideas for bigger fuel capacity.
I hate that I get around 100 mpg but have less range than some electrics. LOL

That tank is HUGE and heavy when full,
and aerodynamically like 3 bricks.

Do you really need a 200-mile range?

Always remember that electrics need charging at home.
Gas engines "charge up" at the nearest gas station.

Maybe it'll work on a rear rack.

North Bend, Or,
If you can find a very secure way to hold the tank on, like really long, spiral screw hose clamps? Frankly it would be better on a bike rack which can handle over 20 pounds.

If that tank was on my friction drive I'd be getting over 300 miles per tankful.

If your midframe had enough space, it'd be a good place for it, aerodynamically, aesthetically and proper weight distribution.
