I have an Ebay sky star at 840 miles within 3 weeks and had to eliminate the master link after chain popped 5 times and now trying to figure out why my motor locked up and snapped a chain link. I'm headed to an ATV shop to try and buy a spring loaded tensioner with a gear not another roller. I tried taking out the sparkplug and turning crank normal direction and wouldn't budge, my brothers thumb was on the plug hole and when I turned the crank backwards it blew his thumb away hard, then it started up right away but soon as I gave it gas it gave so much power it pulled the chain right off the back sprocket can a clogged baffle create a compression lock
