Didn't know where to put this, you decide
Now most of the young ones have never heard of this, but any
Old machinist will have heard of it and done it at some point
It’s called “Peening the hole”
You take the jet made from brass, and use a small ball bearing or something
else heat treated (soft metal versus hard)
I use an old tap ground to a point and then lightly round the point
Put it on jet and whack it,
Now; just so there are no misunderstandings
I don’t mean take a ten pound sledge to it, LOL
I use a peening hammer about 4 ounces, hold it about 2 or 3 inches above it
And come down quickly with about 10 pounds thrust, this makes the hole smaller
By mushrooming the metal about .001, .002 per hit, use gauge pins or drill bit
To set hole size.
and the whole point is just to make the hole smaller so it let’s less gas in
done it to every jet from lawn mower to truck jets, works for me and I hope it works
