A couple of notables have gone...

Goodbye Carroll Shelby. Best builder of one of the meanest sports cars in history and even sold a really good chili kit. Miss you, covet your cars, love your chili.
 
Yep, two legends gone. Dunn was in my favorite movie of all time. He was the bass player in "The Blue Brothers"......
 
Whenever I think of Carroll Shelby I remember an old Bill Cosby comedy album called "200 MPH". Cosby bought a Cobra directly from Shelby. This was back in about 1965 or 66. On the album Carroll asks Cosby why he needed a car that would do close to 200 mph. Cosby said, "I need it to get to work on time."

Cosby described the car as being, "all blue with pipes, pipes that came out and curved around, forming into a 'roll bar'. The speedometer went all the way around to 200 MPH and below that it said, "Oh Wow!" Funny stuff back then.

Your talents will be missed by many of my age Carroll. Rest easy old friend.
