in progress : Micargi Stretched frame, Harley Z90 crankcase , 125 Jug, w/ 73' AT3 triple tree
Too much power for that frame. You'll have a few frame cracks in the first 300 miles provided nothing in your drivetrain breaks first
I'd say brace the **** out of it, but its still a thin wall bicycle frame no matter how much you sleeve, brace, gusset etc it.
Maybe if you wish really hard, it won't break
oh yeah, I've already thought about all of that, the whole back end is getting cut off and rebuilt in heavy steel, front neck is getting replaced with the 73' Yamaha neck, and the belly bar & crank tube "gone", will have steel twin bars w/forward controls, down tube, heavy steel, motorcycle front and back w/ motorcycle old school drum brake.
Brother I am going ALL-IN on this build.
Sounds like a great way to learn to weld, lol! Excited to see the finished product. I just picked up a 60s dirt bike in rough shape that I'll modify with bike wheels and predator 212. After yet another frame crack on my Schwinn I'm done with stock bicycle frames
