Hey all

I recently installed a 49cc kit on a cruiser bike for my dad. (It’s a Christmas gift)
It has chai drive tranny. The 10 tooth drive sprocket on the output shaft of the transmission loosened up and I lost all the ball bearing out of it. It is like it has a little clutch in it. I can not find a replacement. (See pics) What am I going to do? why does this little sprocket have that clutch in it?
I wish I could slide a sprocket on the shaft align it and lock it down with a couple set screws done!

I also did not know you do not get the axle part of the 3 piece crank assembly in the kit.
what is the easiest/most cost effective fix here.

thank you all.
George

If you have a little 110v wire feed welder, just weld it solid (& call it a day)! ;)
I thought about that.
The thing is the back wheel wants to turn constantly. you can stop it cause the motor is not that powerful, but wondering if I could do anything else.

i wonder if that free wheel wheel is something I can add?

how about this 3 piece crank situation?
I have a 2” dia. “Hole” for lack of a better term.
I do not have the middle extended axle, and this so called conversion kit from American to European?
