Hi, so I am working on my first build, and the stupid stock sproket broke my wheels. I have a 29" onyx Genesis cruiser. I bought this wheel to replace it "
Wheel Master WHL RR 29 622x19 Wei 519 BK MSW 36 KT CB BK 110mm 14gBK". Will that work and what size tire and tube should I get for it or would my stock tire and tube work ?? Sorry for formating I'm on mobile.

Excellent question. Lightbeast, the clam shell adapters will work fine on a 29" 48 spoke coaster brake rear wheel. I advise you check them out.https://www.amazon.com/dolphin1986-...822&s=gateway&sourceid=Mozilla-search&sr=8-49
Us with the 29" Onyx/Genisis bikes , it seems - are left out of the tire and wheel selections afforded the 26ers. My bike came with the deep v double wall alum. wheels with the 48 spoke config. I could not use the original front wheel because nobody makes a front brake drum with 48 spokes. I found a 29 with 36 spokes and had the drum laced in. After looking at Sheldon Browns website I am curious if the 700c wheels will be compatable with the 29 inch tires. Has anyone tried this? If so this opens up a world of choices.

Pretty sure it’s the same. 622mm bsd.

I once re-drilled a 36h drum hub to 72h and laced 2/3rds to a 48h DM24 rim. 4 pound wheel that handled 20000 miles....
