25H chain strength

Hi, is 25H chain strong enough for motorized bike?

Because of DIYing it is quite difficult for me to make all parts from 415 chain system to fit my bike.

I am planning to use:

Honda GX50
4 stroke
50ccm
2.0 hp - 7,000 rpm [1.47 kW]
torque 1.6 lb-ft - 5000 rpm [2.2 Nm]

26" city bike
gear ratio motor:rear sprocket 10t:56t
chain D.I.D. 25H - tensile strength 1,322 lbf [600 kgf]

total weight (me+bike+load) cca 220 lbs [100 kg]

second question - is gear ratio ok? I am more focused on torque than speed. Max speed I need is cca 20 mph [30 kmh] but I want to be able to climg steep hills.

I like the 79cc predator for the parts available for it.. more options for upgrades

That 25H chain should be OK... 50cc 4-stroke engines aren't known to be torque monsters.

As far as gear ratios go... you should consider a using gear reduction box like the factory 49cc 4-stroke kits have!!
If you're determined on making it all yourself, you can at least copy the gear ratios of one of those kits. ;)
 
2.0 HP @ 7000rpm pulling 220# up a hill... The chain and gears will use most of if not all of the power... If you had 6-7hp 2-3 would get to the ground and still wouldn't like hills
