2 stroke won't start/stay running

I was gonna suggest closing the plug gap a bit to make sure you are getting spark. People like to set their gap large because it makes a well tuned engine possibly run better. But when you just want to get a bike running, a gap of .018 or .020" is good enough. Especially with our super-duper-adequate ignition system.

Now I kinda want to ask if you wear a helmet... :)

I think the richest part of this debacle was that a new mag would not have solved a thing!

Yer right Mitch. Dang, I said SORRY. How was I supposed to know yer tank was dry? I mean, WHO would NOT check THAT? And next time I WILL ask if ya got gas. All just TOO funny.
fatdaddy.

And now for my next post.
EVERYBODY PLEASE, Next time yer bike won't start, check the gas tank first.
JUST TOO DARNED FUNNY,
I'm still laughing so hard I can barely type.laff
fatdaddy.
P.S. DO you wear a helmet? PAracer wants to know.
