2 stroke synthetic over 2 cycle synthetic

Is there any difference between 2 stroke and 2 cycle oils? Can I use either as long as it is synthetic in my engine?

...i believe the short answer would be no, '2 stroke' and '2 cycle' are 2 ways of saying the same thing, ...like 'motor' and 'engine'.

Well one is for 2cycles of strokes, the other is for 2 stroking cycles, they seem different but are identical in function.

It's up to you whether you want the stroking kind, or the cycling kind.

Just note that if you are breaking in your motor use non-synthetic, then after that use the best synthetic 2 stroke or 2 cycle oil you can buy that is for air cooled engines.

That ought to work in your otto cycle two stroke cycle engine.
