I Bought this COOL OLD Bicycle Engine.
I have been able to determine it is a 1946ish Derby-Zurcher 99cc Bicycle engine.
    I see it called a CLIP-on engine..

    Thats all I can find..
Can anyone offer any OTHER details please?

I have it on the bench to test.. But I need to know the static timing for the divorced distributor..

    Thanks for your time.

Cool motor! Assuming it has points best guess is you set them with the head off and a dial indicator on the piston. Again a guess, but if the points open at 1mm BTDC you should be safe.

By comparison spec on my old 360 is 2.6-2.8mm BTDC and I'd expect a smaller motor to need less timing.

    Hope that helps.
