I hope I won't need to ask for help, my kit from pirate cycles will be delivered some time tomorrow.

I worked as a industrial mechanic but did any small engine work before so as long as its just rutine installation I should be ok. If the engine wont start or run properly I'll be back to pick your brains for crumbs of wisdom.

With your mechanical background I doubt that you will have any issues that you cannot overcome. I recommend reading up on the installation threads for some insight on what to avoid and what to upgrade for reliability's sake.
