I bought a F50 from http://www.thatsdax.com I have a 29" mountain bike with disk breaks and feel good about my first build except for one thing, I am not sure how to count the sprockets. I get 16 on one side for a total of 32 on my wheel. Will the F50 accept this setup or will i have to use a additional bracket for it to work? Thanks.

Note: I would still like to keep my current bike setup in case something goes wrong while riding away from home.

I think you meant to type "spokes".

Have you verified that you can fit the sprocket flush to the hub? Disk-break hubs are usually too wide to permit sprocket-mating. That said, I HAVE in the past attached a standard sprocket to a 32-spoke wheel with a disk-brake interface. I had to use a Dremel to increase the size of the sprocket-hole, and then cut out notches to match the disk-brake bolt nubs. This resulted with the sprocket fitting in such a way that power is transmitted directly to the hub and not the spokes in the rag-joint. Since 32 is not equally divisible by 9, I was only able to adequately secure 4 bolts, but this was enough to secure the sprocket successfully.

That said, I HIGHY recommend that you invest in a disk-brake/sprocket adapter. All told, I spent about $75 on mine, and wish I'd don it years ago. It's painful laying out that much for a seemingly simple device, but it's saved me untold hours of anguish.

This is the one I have, and it's given me ZERO issues. It's also convenient since I can quickly swap it to my WINTER wheel (this week). No more fiddling with rubber-rags, and torquing bits and pieces of bolts, washers, and nuts.

The sprocket is SUPURB. It's aluminum, but it's tough. I have many hundreds of mile on it, and it's shown NO signs of wear.

Thanks for the info and yes i mean "Spokes". Would a standard 26" bike be a better fit? I can pick one up cheap on craigslist, probably a little more than i would spend on the adapter. If I DO choose the adapter do i want the 40T or the 44T? Thanks again!

So long as the 26" has 36-spokes and no disk-brake, you should be fine. The sproket T-count depends on your weight, and what type of performance you want. I ride 29" exclusively due to my height, this means slightly lower torque than a similarly equipped 26". I use a 44T for better torque. So I cruise comfortably at about 27MPH on a 29".

I definitely don't want to step on toes here, but the rag joint is perfectly acceptable to use ***so long as it's installed properly***

I have used a few on my builds and have never had an issue, not even a re-torque.

If you have 32 spoke rims, it just won't work (properly) It has to be divisible by 9.
