Many of us here are more into safety and reliability over speed. I often post videos of how to safely ride a bicycle in traffic. Being a good MB'er starts with being a good cyclist first.

All too often people transfer their poor cycling bad habits over into the motorized bicycle world. These individuals often feel traffic laws don't apply to them. If that wasn't bad enough they then make videos of irresponsible dangerous riding and post it on public media's. So when these videos make it to the forum we old timers strongly chastise these individuals. We let them know reckless behaviors aren't cool but irresponsible and dangerous to themselves and others.

Post some pictures of your bike. Welcome to the forum

Welcome to the forum. Some photos of your bike, as Sidewinder Jerry said, would indeed be welcome. Over the years we've seen many new people to the motorized bicycle world with no experience on motorcycles or mopeds tell us that they want to build a bike that will do at least 50 mph right from the start using a new Huffy bike from Walmart and could we tell them how to do it. They were rapidly told no, along with warnings about loose fenders jamming into tires and locking up.

One very experience bike builder on here had that happen to him at a low speed. He stopped building and riding shortly after that.

Steve.
