Where can I buy a 49cc 4-stroke starter cup??

What's up everyone!!

Where can I buy a Huasheng 49cc starter cup? (it's the round part that attaches to the flywheel that the pull starter grabs onto to turn the flywheel).

I have a project that needs one, but I can't find one for sale anywhere online.

(or does anyone have a good used one that they'll sell???

After some research what you're looking for is a Huasheng 142F Start reel part # 142f-21.

I could find no place that just sales that part. You can buy some parts for the engine but that particular part isn't one of them. The best thing I could suggest is to buy a scrap 142f engine.

Would you be able to repair the one that's on it?

It is indeed a difficult part to find anywhere online.
I got lucky & was able to track one down for free from an old friend in the motorbike scene here in Los Angeles.
