Been having a constant problem with my left side pedal rubbing the side of the engine where my spring chain tensioner mounts to the clutch cover.
I've tried everything I can think of to no avail. Tried adjustng the motor in the frame numerous times.... didn't help. Tried adjusting the motor up, down, to the right.... still no luck. I know you can get those wide crank pedals for using the 4 stroke kits. I'd like to get wider pedals that will fit a cruiser frame. Can someone maybe provide a link or a place I can get them?

This is what Tom said on your other post... You need some basic metal fabrication tools (or a neighbor that can help) if you want to continue in this hobby.

Either file down the inside of the clutch cover & bucking bar; or remove the cheesy spring tensioner (& install the kit tensioner), or file down the inside of the crank arm... (or find a neighbor with skills & tools who can help).

Only problem is I don’t have any neighbors that live near me. I live in a spread out neighborhood so I wound up just buying some extended crank arm pedals off of Amazon just waiting for them to arrive.

Change the cranks to something wider or What you can do is grind a slight groove into the back of the crank arm and find sone quality steel bolts that fit and slightly lower them by grinding them down if you're lucky you'll have enough room to shave the two down and get it to work. Orrr heat the crank arm up with a torch and slightly bend it out just s tad,,, if their one piece.
