Lot of work scheduled on motorized bicycle over the next few days, awaiting as parts arrive.

Awaiting parts... it's in the mail... too much time on hand... leading to thinking!... always a hazardous pursuit for tinkerers! :) Contemplating...

Having completed 36 mile trip on motorized bicycle, was glad to get off MB "vibration machine", which put me to wondering: "Is balancing crank really worthwhile?"

Before beginning a deep dive and studying all forums on "balancing crank," asking those who've "done it":

Does balancing crank reduce vibrations & making for smoother, more pleasant ride with less vibration?

Yes, and it'll help your engine last longer, Balancing crank is recommended

Thank you for your reply.

I have no experience with balancing cranks and before I spent energy, time and effort going through forums providing information on balancing crank, wanted to check with people who'd actually balanced their crank and find out what their results were.

Long learning curve ahead. Reading thus far, opinions vary as to methodologies best employed.

One nice thing: valuable information to study & learning from efforts and results of others' experiences.
