I was wanting to run Hookworms on both ends. The front wheel is a Crew bike mag that is pretty indestructible; I am thinking spoked rear with 12 g spokes.

Waddaya think?

I had a 24" front and a 20" rear on a Jesse James chopper frame... It's helps steering around corners with the small rear wheel... You get more torque less top end and it had a KTM sx65 clone... matched up with the gearing better the down side is if you're gearing is to low the engine doesn't get the cooling it should... 26/24 would be a good combo racing around corners... Shorter spokes will be stronger also...

I've got 19" x 1.85 moped wheels I'm in the middle of putting together that are 25" tall with the tires... 10 gauge spokes there heavy and going on something that will haul ass so it's more of a safety thing at 60mph I'm going for... The 2.25 tires aren't inflated and are the skinnyest ones I found for mocking everything up... 2.75 is the widest ones that measure 2.91" I can get once everything is put together and make sure they will fit... Clear chains etc... I've got a thread about them... Basically 10 years ago I seen something similar being built by Ted Snell in Washington state and wanted to make up a set... Pugeot 103 hubs rear and XL FD Sturmer archer on the front... Just need the spokes and have them built but I've got other things I'm doing so it's just parts for me at this stage...

@Sidewinder Jerry I have actually abandoned the idea. I have opted to go with a pair of Bike Berry HD rims (double wall, 12 ga spokes) because the more research I do, the less I like all but the Crew bike mags. I may as well start fresh with a nice pair of spoked wheels made for the job.

I may build a drag bike that would use a skinny front wheel and a fat/wide rear. That will be a few builds away...
