Me and my son built this beauty. It's a 66cc 2 stroke on a Kent Sea Change frame. We had a few issues before we got it going. Now she's running good.

Not at the moment. I still don't know how the city and borough cops nearby are going to treat me. I'm on the very outskirts of the city, so I may slip into the bordering borough as well. When I say close I mean going past the bottom of my street takes you out of the city. I don't know anyone else that rides these bikes around here, so I don't have any clue of how the police treat them. I have seen these bikes on the road, but not too often. Don't know if the scarcity is because of police or some other factor. The only thing I can do is try and see.

From what I've read about your state it's fairly tolerant as long as you fully and completely obey all traffic laws. The reason I asked about a second build is I'm hoping to see some father-son rides.

We go out riding regular bikes together. Haven't taken this one out of the neighborhood yet. Still working out the bugs. I have a hunch that his mom is gonna get me an ebike for Christmas.. Then we will be able to do some serious riding.
