Sick Bike Parts - 2022

We are, sadly, announcing the closing of Sick Bike Parks LLC this next year, 2022. It's been a GREAT nearly 15 year run. We learned a lot, worked a lot - and had a lot of fun! This decision was reached after much deep thought, number crunching and soul searching. Jim and I are wanting to step back and embrace new directions in each of our lives.

As we wind down the business, we will only be carrying a few key items after we sell our remaining stock.

There are many details to work out. We will keep you informed here and through our website - please email us any questions, business acquisition inquiries, or comments.

Thank you and Happy 2022!

Jim and Paul

Though I have a triple chainring Staton Inc shift kit, I always told others about your shift kit. SI quit selling shift kits several years ago. With you leaving the market there'll be no high quality shift kits on the market. Fabian added a chainring to your shifter thus greatly widening the reduction range. Large riders with small cc engines who ride where there's steep hills need gears.

I plan to make videos of my triple chainring shift kit soon. It gets shifted like this, for 9 sequential non redundant ratios.

Red Gears
Steep hill climbing and heavy load pulling
1(1-3)

Yellow gears
Around town level ground general use
2(3-5)

Green gears
Open road use
3(5-7)

All shifting is done with the left hand. There's a color code on the shifters. By widening the reduction range one can then do with a small engine what a larger engine can do.

You've sold basically the same thing for years. I don't want you to leave. So here's a whole new system and direction to take your shift kit in.

Jim and Paul,
Early on you guys stepped up to provide much needed parts for countless people. I was a customer many times. Just your business name alone " Sick Bike Parts LLC" shows a real dedication to doing things the right way. Setting up a true Limited Liability Corporation is a complicated process and costs a lot of money. It also means you pay your taxes and that alone shows a well managed business. Your parts and business ethic will be missed by the motor bike community. Best of luck in your future pursuits be it personal or business related.
Take care,
Pat

Very bloody sad news that SBP's is closing :(. Their range of parts and after sale friendly helpful advice was always excellent!
I wonder will the value of my fleet of eight shift kit equipped motor-bicycles will go up now? John
ps Best wishes to Jim & Paul in their future endeavours and big thanks for providing an awesome service to the motor bicycle community which must have been mighty challenging at times.

Don't know yet. We still have them, but people are starting to buy multiples of items.

206mm Bottom Bracket cartridges all gone.

Plenty of 226mm bottom bracket cartridges left. for example.

Two stroke HD Kits are back.

Four Stroke kits are back.

We now have the 4 stroke mounts for sale - people have been asking for this for a long time!

And our 2 stroke mount

This one off from Cyclone: https://sickbikeparts.com/enduro-motorized-bike-frame-1-only/

SERIOUSLY - After these kits are sold, there will be no more.

In a couple weeks I'm going to order a bunch of hardware kits and studs and a few other things... I've been distracted with other things hope you're still in business
Easily in business the rest of 2022. No worries and thank you!!

I mean the only worry is every day or two we run out of something, and that will be it for that part number.

Thank you! From beginning to end sick bikes is a stand up organization!

I just marked some - OK a bunch of items down.

Would like to add my tribute to SBP. Bought a shift kit when they first came out and hooked it to a 142 F driving a Shimano 3-speed hub. Put several hundred miles on before switching to a 66cc and 7-speed derailleur that's been running strong ever since, proving that these kits hold up. I've stuck with the kit because it's adaptable to multiple bike frame designs and engine configurations. Another great feature is the ability to change gearing ratios on the jackshaft. SBP did a lot to drive interest in motorized biking by providing quality kits that make it possible to get speed from low HP engines. If I couldn't shift my MB, I'd be riding my moped or E-bike, now collecting dust in a corner because the MB is so much more fun . Good luck, Pablo & Company, whatever you choose to do from here.

I feel like I burgled SBP without the hooligan tools... And my friend hasn't talked to me for a few days because he got a bunch of stuff just before the fire sale

I threw a bunch of extra parts in the box. I think I blew my arm out carrying your box. Heavy! Should be there by Thursday.
