I've acquired an engine to do my first 4 stroke project. Now i know it must have a cam and valves and t hats the extent of my 4 stroke knowledge lol. I'm going to have to get another educatin and study it the way i did 2 strokes. I'm hoping someone can identify what this engine is it has no markings and i dont have a clue. hoping someone can tell me what it is im working with here.. thank you for help.... kelly

Flywheel cover metal or plastic? Sometimes there is serial numbers stamped in covers, but may be to new. It is small like 79cc or 99cc, should be a fun project, about 3hp............Curt

Yeppers here is a 79cc monster from Gasbike ..same side cover..
thanks moto and curt now i know what it is i can better go about study on this thing. i dont know much of anything about a 4 stroke but the thing appears in pretty good shape and its got good compression, ive got the carb for it and an exhaust manifold and the guy it came from is supposed to be bringing over some sort of clutch for it. the size isnt too bad it should fit a pretty good range of bicycle frames, that will be the next thing to decide while i get me some education on these motors. I've had it in mind to do a 4 and this was a fair trade for some old 2 stroke stuff i had....kelly
