Hello all,
It has been a while since i've visited this board, but just because i didn't post doesn't mean i stopped building. Over the last few years i've built and sold a handful of bikes and saved the proceeds to fund this project.
I decided to finally reach out to Dan at Taylar Motorbikes and ask him to build me one of his world class machines. A few weeks later, the frame, fork, tank, both tool boxes, motor mount, reduction drive hub and handle bars were ready.
Dan did a great job communicating with me throughout the build and answered all my questions, no matter how stupid some of them were. He sent progress pics so i was always up to date on the project. The bike looked amazing in the pics and i couldn't wait to see it in person. I've seen Dan's builds on the interwebz as far back as 2011, so i knew i was going to get unmatched quality. However, i have never seen his work in person, so i was extra excited to see my bike once it was finished.
I got a text at the end of last week from Dan stating that my build is ready for pickup, so i drove out to his shop this weekend and i was in awe. The bike looked better in person, which says a lot seeing as how the pics already made it look incredible. The quality of welds and precision of all the handmade parts impressed me beyond words. The attention to detail was remarkable, he created exactly what i had described to him.
I can go on for another 10 pages describing how amazing his work is and how i'm still in disbelief of the fact that i own something this awesome, but i'll save you some time and show the pics:
