49cc High compression head

I cant find anywhere (except gasbike for like 90 dollars) a good 49cc head. anyone got links?

I don't know of any, if you remove the head and sand it down a bit it will increase compression for free. I'm sure there's tons info in the forum about it somewhere.

There is a good and inexpensive moped head that fits your 48 cc.

Just put in a $9 NGK 5944 (BPR7HIX) Iridium spark plug.
It's longer and better than stock and will give you about the same performance increase as a new head for that little 48cc 2-stroke, an expansion chamber exhaust will help the most though.

Well, usually you sand the cylinder down to decrease the squish gap and increase compression, this is known as "decking" the cylinder. You don't usually sand down the head.
