And I'm done. Now this P.O.S. has no spark.

Sent seller a return request and they want to give me a $40 compensation.
ROFLMAO!
These kits should not be this difficult. I've built one before.
I understand that you might have to tune them up a little bit but you should not have to rebuild the motor to get them running. This is total BS!
Now if they don't send me another kit, I'll have to pay the return shipping and get a refund, if they agree to a refund, I have to ship it first, 1 week to arrive there, then they give refund, takes 4-5 business days for the refund to register in my e-bay account, then I have to order another kit from someone else, that will take another week to arrive, so I'm looking at the end of June sometime before I get this thing going. That's if they refund me. I cannot afford to buy another kit, I'm on SSDI and I cannot work.
My motorized bicycle days are over.

I sent them a message asking for a refund and the sent the message I posted above.
A refund is the only option e-bay gives you to make a claim. I had to make a claim just in-case they screw me over. I did however send them a private message telling them I just wanted to exchange the engine, the carb, exhaust and the CDI (The parts that make it run).
I don't need the tank, throttle, clutch lever, cables, chain, chain guard.
I have to wait till Monday now for a reply.

I got it to spark again but now it won't start at all.
And yes, I have good compression. (for the person that asked earlier) It's a pain in the arse to peddle this with the clutch engaged, have to stand up to do it.

And no, I'm not spending another $8 on a jet kit. Iv'e already wasted enough money.
I don't think its the carb. My last bike worked perfect, and I was told in this thread these carbs are all the same. Why wouldn't the 2 brand new carbs I have work if the last bike carb worked perfect. It is not my job to build this engine. It should run out of the box. I do not live 10,000 ft above sea level.
Iv'e taken my carb apart so many times it wont even seal any more and the aluminum outlet broke off. Iv'e taken my exhaust off so many times the stud is stripped out and the gasket is tore. Iv'e taken my side cover off so many times the bolts are stripped out. Iv'e taken my magneto off so many times the bolt is stripped out on the top right side.

AND I'M USING MICKY MOUSE TOOLS FROM FISHER PRICE!!!!

This is not my responsibility. It should run outta the box.
The next person I see that has problems with a new engine, I'm telling them to send it back for exchange.

There has to be a hobby store near ft. wayne. The one by me sells micro bits individually. I took my jet out and brought it with me, and bought 5 bits smaller and 5 larger than my jet.

I have a 48cc engine. With one carb, it liked a 68 jet. Another carb, it wanted a 75. Both carbs came with 72. So one was too rich, the other was too lean. Manufacturing tolerances ( especiallyfor a motor kit that comes with a fortune cookie) are not good! You get lucky if it runs from the box without any work.

Also, read this. I never updated it, but I got it running. It ended up being the carb. Sometimes the spark plug can get so saturated that it won't spark.

that email sounds like they're offering a new motor for $37 and you keep the old one - if so, that should fix this and give you a spare for parts

also, it occurs to me that running a while then quiting could be bad motor mounts

remember, this has to be simple - an experienced guy in your area should see the cause right away

I cannot use a silver motor, and it doesn't come with a CDI or a carb.
If it was black I would do it.

To the left and right of your screen, you will see two columns of sponsors, at the top left, is SD stinger, second from top on right is Dax.

I've put nearly 3000 hard miles on my stinger, so far.
The next motor will come from Dax, who's reputation is sterling.

My stinger ran ok out of the box, broke in fine, and ran great till the CDI took a dump at 2756 miles. Replacment came from Dax, and Tanglebones runs better than ever. Only minor tuning was ever required. My advice to you is to send that pile of junk back and get a better motor, from a well reputed dealer.

I understand how SSDI works, fixed monthly incomes can make a build very challenging. Don't give up. If you get one running and ironed out, it'll open up your budget for other things, what with the savings on fuel and insurance and such.

I still don't like the way my magnet looks. Not only that but, one side is more magnetized than the other. If I put a screwdriver on the right side, it's hard to pull off. If I put a screwdriver on the left side, It almost falls off without effort.

I don't feel like waiting. This could take forever. I accepted their offer to purchase a new engine for $37. I guess it's a good deal because I get to keep the other brand new engine for free. I'm pretty sure it's something stupid and easy to fix. I am going to take the magneto and the magnet out of this new engine and install it in my black engine.
I'm willing to bet it will run after I do this. They also sent me a new carb last week. It should be here Monday. I will have 3 carbs, 3 magnetos, 2 CDI's, 2 magnets, 3 plugs, 2 plug wires, 3 sets of clutches, and an extra engine block that's ready to go.
If I can't get this thing going with all this, I am a complete moron.

yes, they do just paint over all the bolts - years ago I had to paint them myself when I wanted black - no big deal

you're at the point at which you're just wasting time replacing good parts with other good parts - get a working motor and fix the old one after you're more familiar with how to find what's wrong

I'm sorry but no, they did not just paint over the bolts. This engine was painted before it was put together. You can still see the gaskets everywhere. If they painted this engine after it was built you would not see the original gasket color and every single bolt, and bracket would be painted black too.
They actually did a good job painting this motor, and I am going to keep it.
I do not build shabby looking bikes, or cars.
Wasting time is having to get another engine in the first place. This should run straight out of the box.
At this point, time is not an issue. Time has been wasted for 3 straight days trying to fix something that shouldn't need fixed.
My main objective is quality. I like the way it looks, and I'm going to keep it looking this way.
