Located on the Minnesota/Ontario border, I'm getting too durned old to peddle around the county. Therefore I'm gonna have to rig up some kind of motor for my Schwinn. This looks like a good place to start, especially since it is still well below zero outside.

Tell me about it, I just got back from the store, it's so cold that all my black vinyl covering on my cables cracked and fell to the ground as I moved my handlebars. I should point out that it was the cables that came from China with my kit and not the ones that came with the bike.
You'll enjoy the site , the last few months have blown my mind with all the inventive ways people have come up with to improve these kits.

LOL, Ret it's all just in fun. I'd never heard of Icycle Flats till Robin mentioned it just now.

Of course "I.F." doesn't have Rocky and Bullwinkle promoting it.

When I was a kid I used to watch Rocky & Bullwinkle cartoons on TV with my Dad & Grandad.
Grandmother though they got more laughs from it than I did. I've seen them laugh at that
so hard they had tears in their eyes and I couldn't for the life of me see what was so funny.
But, I remember the episodes where they were at Frostbite Falls quite well.

Howdy Cad and welcome. motorized bicycle riding is great fun but highly addictive.

"Watch me pull a rabbit outa my hat. ARRGGGHHH. I have to get a bigger hat" LOVE that show!!!!!! The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (Peabody here. This is my boy Sherman)

Like most cartoons, most of the humor was way above kid's heads and minds. I find it funnier now then as a kid. I am looking forward to when I grow up and catch it all, snork.

Now I must go and make beeg trouble ford moose and scwarel.......

OK, make that International Falls, MN. And I live 70 miles Northwest of there. International Falls does have an annual 10K race on the last weekend of January though. They call it the "Freeze yer gizzard blizzard 10K run. When I was years younger I ran in it for several years in a row, never finishing better than mid-pack.

I'm not a doc. Yeas ago I read about the first Jet Engine Powered Land Speed Record Vehicle, and it was called "The Flying Caduceus." I just liked the sound of it.

Eh Dan.....you remember many of those shows ? Seems I remember Rocky and Bullwinkle
being in Frostbite Falls hunting for the "Upsidasium" (the anti gravity matter) with Boris,
Natasha, and Mr. Big hot on their trail. Somewhere in there Bullwinkle put on this thinking cap
called "The Kerwood Derby" and was temporarily as smart as Einstein. Problem was they borrowed
the name idea from an early "Today Show" personality named Derwood Kerby, (an high strung intellectual guy who looked much like Cosmo of the Seinfeld Show) and Kerby wound up suing
the Rocky & Bullwinkle show for using his name without permission. Kerby took himself quite
seriously and he didn't like the comparison of himself with the dim wit moose Bullwinkle.

Remember any of that ?

I was just a kid but Dad and Grandad didn't miss too many episodes. Fractured Fairytales used to
put Grandad flat on the deck and Dudly Do Right paralyzed Grandma with laughter.
