where did you find aluminum pipe that thick ???

Sometimes i use a u-joint strap. Very strong and never had a problem using them. You can get them in just about any size you need at a good auto parts store.

For that frame I used 1 1/6" straps.

My Bad, that was the Dela cruz and it has a 1" seat tube and I used a 1" strap.

Sorry, that was 8 years ago hard to remember.

LoL. My seat tube measures 1 1/8. I might need one of these.
