That's what I was thinking when my wife offered up her Moon Dog for a conversion...a little "adjustment" to the tank with a ball peen hammer and it fits.

Cool start there motorbiker. I have two of them in my garage right now Im getting ready to put motors on. Been fixing the stock brakes shortening the cables changing the shifter over to a lever instead of the rotater. I also stripped off the sticker on one and left it on the other. One is going to get a springer heavy gauge wheels and banana seat and ape bars like a larger stingray. Keep up the good work.

Cruiser- don't know who really makes them....I got my wife's a couple years ago.

They are a little heavy compared to some othe W-Mart bikes, but appear solid except the fender/braces.

Hi Bikeguy Joe,

It says Pacific on the sticker. So does Matt's Schwinn and Roadmaster.

On the walmart.com website they have 2 different Moondog cruisers.

If you click on the one like mine it says Schwinn. The other one does not say Schwinn on the website.

Thanks, motorbiker (c)

Hi CRUISER,

They are $99 at Walmart. Mine is green. They had a blue and red one there too.

They have a new Monndog model that is yellow now. The frame is different.

The one like mine is low and the seat will go low. My 5 foot 2 wife likes to ride it with the seat all the way down.

Thanks, motorbiker (c)

Well here is mine started. This one has everything left on. I have a dual brake lever which I love, shortened all the cables on this one. Just want it to be a plain jane bike but its going up for sale when its done. I also have the other waiting in the wings thats stripped of all the labels that I plan on making a oversized stingray. Oh and not to rub it in I got both of them for 80 bucks. (^)

Yep it sure is George but the other one is the upgraded kit, black motor different carb clutch lever. If I can only get the tanks fixed should be good to go.

Moondog #1 is sold. I went to buy another one at WalMart but they only had the new model. The low sitting Moondogs are only online at WalMart.com. Oh well.

I bought an orange new model one.

The good news is that it is easy to make an engine mount for the front.

Thanks, motorbiker
