As for the fuel filter, it's on right according to everything I've seen.
$40.00 total. Just contact turbobuick1 here on the forum. It is available on ebay. But if you order it directly from him here, he will include the 2 metric Allen wrenches for free. Worth it.

It's machined aluminium, but it would be easily painted or powder coated. It works great --- got one on my machine.

As xseler mentions, this tensioner lends itself well to paint. I would personally use a red 3M scotch-brite pad, lacquer thinner to clean it, primer, and then your choice of black.

Just ordered one of your tensioners from ebay. Looking forward to getting it. My compliments on a well designed item. I see there are a lot of options for skateboard wheels on ebay with ABEC7 and ABEC9 bearings. Less rolling resistance. What size are the wheels you ship with your tensioner, so I know I'm getting the proper size upgrade wheel.

That looks pretty good for 300 miles of wear. I guess I'll just stick with the included wheels and save the money for other upgrades. Thanks for that post!

Thanks for posting the pic xseler! The wheels have outstanding durability, and will last the lifetime of your motorbike and then some. The bearings will probably do the same!
Nevada, I really encourage you to stick with the included wheels and bearings. As you say, you would better off putting your money towards other parts for your bike!

Yah, finally received all of my overseas mods and got my second moped together and running. HUGE thank you to turbobuick1! Thanks for making this quality product available and offering it at a reasonable price. You are a real pleasure to deal with. Fast and friendly seller and went the extra mile for me to source another part which was not available locally. Also, thanks for the info in your listing as I'd not heard of the sprocket adapters until then.
Hopefully, this is the last one I'll need to build for a while so I tried to do a good job on it.
After market mods include:
Custom made front engine mount
Turbobuick1's sprung chain tensioner
Custommotoredbicycles rear chain tensioner
Sportmanflyer hub adapter and sprocket
For this bike I also purchased some nitrile rubber to put between the frame and anything mounted to it such as the engine mounts, petrol tank and rear chain tensioner etc. I also purchased some clear nylon plumbing tube and put this over my U bolts on the rear chain tensioner for better grip and less vibration.
As per turbobuick's info I've had to cut out a portion of the chain guard to enable the roller some clearance. I also shortened it so I can bolt it to the rear chain tensioner.
Finally, I had to get the muffler reshaped and lengthened to fit the frame. This was done by the same local engineering company that made the custom engine mount from a stainless pipe hanger.

I'm thinking about polishing it out along with the other 2 side covers. Might be a nice project for when it gets too nasty out to do any riding.
