I have a crazy idea for a gas tank for my Felt Chief build; but it involves having the fuel outlet well below the carb. I have seen the AGK impulse fuel pumps and I'm wondering how well these work, and If anybody has the demensions on one Id apreciate it. Aproximate is OK. Anybody running one of these on a HS 49cc four stroke?

2" x 2" and it should work fine on your bike. You will need to run a pulse fitting off the in-take or the crankcase. I have seen where the fuel pressure is excessive and may have issues with some carbs.

I may need one of these as well. Let us know how it goes velodrome.

Edit: Why not use a diaphragm carb from a rack mount?

I just email'd AGK to ask about the pumps they sell overpowering / flooding a HS size carb. I'll post back when I hear something.

I saw that Duane (Thatsdax) sells a diaphragm carb and conversion kit for the HS. I don't have one myself but thought the idea was cool.

You could also install a fuel pressure regulator inline to control pressure.
I'm not aware of any specific parts but I know they are out there for other engines, and the regulator does not know what it's installed on anyway....

AGK got back to my email They seem to think it would work just fine. I wrote back to ask them to clarify which of the two pumps they sell might work best on the HS. Standby for news....

Heres what AGK has to say bout the 2 pumps they sell. "I always use the Mikuni fuel pump. I've been very happy with it. One of my racing buddies has always used the black fuel pump and has been very happy with it so it really doesn't matter which one you use.

I'm not sure when we'll have the HS carb back in stock. Our vendors can never tell us when their shipment will arrive. You can always send us your stock HS carb and have us rework it for you" SO: Far as Im concerned use which ever physically fits your build best. Also good to know they will re-work a stock HS carb to the hot rod version if you send em one. WOOT Im in buisness!

Hi I'm new to this site and I have a question I added this on the valve cover of my
Huasheng 49cc 4-stroke
trying to add a fuel pump and I would like to know if anyone think that this will work?
