Compression ratios for different engines...

I have been searching all the china manufacturers and it seems all are 6:1 except for the flying horse which is 8:1....

I have bought 2 engines from BGF and one has 2 head gaskets and the other has one..... The one w/ 2 gaskets seems to go faster at same rpm than the other...

Just curious, looking to buy a new engine for my next build.... Stretch cruiser... (Firmstrong chief)

I am happy with both my engines, have not had 1 single problem in 700 miles....

Just fishing for others thoughts on this subject...

that is probably why i like my flying horse a lot more than my last it feels more powerful it mist be the compression

Come on, do not believe any of the performance figures posted
on many of the vendors websites.

Flying Horse crap has the same compression as the rest of the
Chinese made bicycle engines.
The only one with higher compression was the Rat motor

A lot of vendors have the gall to claim 5 to 6 hp!!! :D

Caveat emptor !!!

well if it isnt different why does my flying horse pull like a truck compared to my GT-5 grubee paperweight.
the grubee was nothing but problems but thats not the point when it was running it never pulled like this
