new bottom end-type J or D

From what I have read on this forum, the 66cc engine can be a type J, a type D, and possibly neither.

Has anyone found a way to identify them? I need to get a new bottom end for my 66cc. I can't remember were I purchased it, but I do know it has a needle bearing connecting rod. Any help is appreciated, thanks

Putting up a pic might help.

How much does a bottom end cost?
Might be easier to buy a whole new motor?

that's dax lists the 2 different types-$59. gas bike shows only one-$74.
cheapest new engine I found on ebay around $100.

I might be able to get away with just getting a new crank, I'll have to see if I can fix the clutch.
