Kohler Engined Cafe'

I have seen industrial V-twins mounted on choppers and bobbers; but never on a cafe racer. Mating the Kohler to a Triumph tranny and a classic frame must have been tricky. Most builders use a CVT with the Kohlers and Vangards.

not hard at all...
the preunit trans is connected to the motor by a chain and the clutch is part of the trans
 
Nothing against anyone who builds using a CVT, but I think it would be much more fun and sound much better shifting through a set of gears.

There's some nice looking custom cast pieces there too. I never realized how much those old Beemer frames look like a Norton Featherbed !

also depends on what is allowed by law in your area...
NO manual shifting of motorized Bicycles in my state there's also a 50cc limit...
