The death of the RAW motor

I checked back to the site where I purchased my RAW motor.

80cc 66cc 48cc 49cc Bicycle Engine Kits - Motorized Bicycles - Grubee Sky Hawk - Parts - Bike Motor

Now it seems they no longer make their motors and now they sell Grubees and Jets.

It's really too bad. My RAW 66cc is great! I'm sure Grubees and Jets are fine, but I like my engine a lot and it's really too bad that you won't be able to get new RAW motors anymore.

Actually, this is not the same company. Nationwide access, the owners of Skypuppet, Gasbikes, kingsmotorbikes and a few others bought Raw out a month or so ago. Raw supposedly couldn't get epa approval so they sold out.

Now we need the Raw Rebuild club. I own two RAWs and like them.

If this is true, then why was there a sudden shortage and price increase of HT engines? That's very interesting, Rohmell!

Yeah, I remember just months ago people here(including myself) were convinced that we were near the end of the era of HT bike engine kits.

I think rohmell is right because I think a lot of the information we got back then was from the guy who runs gasbike.net.
