Tools to have with you.

Dave I know there have been a lot of threads on this but sometimes we get new ideas from newer members, sunday I had to put my kit to use had a flat front tire. Ten minutes later I was back on the road.

What kit did you use to fit your flat if you don't mind sharing?

I carry a slime self adheasive kit that you can get at a bicycle shop, also a small can of fix a flat. I have since replaced the tube with a slime no flat tube.

This slime adhesive kit, you just inject it in the tube and that's it? You don't need to inflate it? I"m looking for something that can instantly seal and inflate at the same time.

yes, it repairs and inflates at the same time.The fix a flat that is, I carry a pump that is mounted to the frame under the tank to inflate a tire after I patch the tube.

That's great that you carry a pump and unfortunately I don't carry one so I must use the "fix a flat" that you mention.
