Strotter, do you want to go on the weekend or a weekday?
Give me a call.

Be warned that Google maps and GPS's route you the wrong way
from the freeway turn off. we are trying to get that fixed with Google
maps and i will post up an accurate route.
Hey Neil, Ben here # 24. I know its still along time till the race at the Grange, but are we going to go clockwise or counter. From the vids I see, all the moto and mini moto guys are going counter while the karts are going to clockwise....Maybe there could be a vote for fun. Thanks

Hey Ben, Scotto- here #3. We will race the same direction as our PTO's on our engines and that is counter-clockwise as that is the way of the universe. Let's ride, not vote.

The race ain't a democracy, there will be no voting......lol
I will be checking the track out soon but it looks like counterclockwise
is the way we are running for several reasons.

PS: There will be no "volunteers" this race with scoring, flagging, etc.

It is a working race event and you will be assigned to help with
the above tasks.
I will not be begging on the PA for scorers this race on Oct 22nd.
If you don't do your assigned task you don't get on the track,
it's going to be just that simple.

Only 99 days from today to race day!

Hey PM me the event details and a flyer if you have one (if not let me know and I will make one for you) so I can post it on the Zombie Bike Werks National Events category. I am just starting to get this site finished up and some traffic there but every little bit of promotion helps.

I guess it not going to happen we lost Neil-he got banned from the forum now the sport has fans but no organizer in Ca. this is not good for for the MB hobbyist
the guys at piston bikes , myself, and some "soon to be announced" others are going to put together a democratic racing association, where we'll listen to suggestions people have, and you can race your slow smokey 2 stroker, your toaster-oven powered electric, or your evel knievel huffy cranbrook/snake river jumper, with no worries about having an evil dictator looking over your shoulder...

Can I still just send in my money like last time and not show up?

laff

Or maybe I will show up and just refuse to be a scorer. Then I won't have to race.

laff

You guys have big fun racing. It's just not for me.

Mike B,

Think I'll send in registration fee for 2 as my little contribution.

Maybe you could refuse to stop scorekeeping and miss racing that way!

Oh, I know I'm gonna miss the race. I still gotta take care of pops.

The point is, you guys should be having fun and working together, not beating each other up.

Motor bicycle racing. C'mon, you don't want to turn it into NASCAR eh?

Your contribution was really appreciated and thanks to a lot of
guys like you I am putting in the time and effort to do it again on Oct 22nd.

Not too many rules like some would like to impose and there will
be classes for everyone. There will be no NASCAR rules. lol

This time its going to be twice as much fun as Willow Springs.

IMHO, GXH50/HS142F/F-CC/Titans should be in their own class. There is very little hop-up parts for them and they simply do not compare even to the HF 2.5. Of course, there has to be enough of them at the track for them to have their own class, but anyone who's going to bring one to race in a serious manner is going to find themselves outgunned against other motors.
The 50cc 4 strokes are getting their own class at the Oct 22nd race.
All other small 4 stroke motors will be included in this class too.

I hope that you get to bring your 50cc Huasheng this time.

Nice to see you back and still involved. I'm with Duce.... I can't remember having as much fun as I did at Willow springs. I am working on a "death trap" now and don't know where it will fall in the classes but it should be fun trying to figure out..duh.
